Since I started training with Alona my handstand practice really changed, everything feels much easier and more achievable. She always believed in me and finally I got my straddle one arm on the right and it feels easy! Her teaching method focused on coordination between breathing and movement really resonated with me (if you think about it - in all sports you need to coordinate breathing and movement so why not in handstand!!).
Joining her retreat was an amazing opportunity to spend days and hours training under her guidance! Alona organised the days in a way that never felt too much. A mix of more foundational exercises, explanation and also time for self practice tailored to our levels. We also had one to one time with her in the only afternoon “off”!
She made sure we were all very well taken care off. The food was just amazing! We had enough time to relax and sleep between practice and have fun.. Handstand, sleep, eat and repeat.. what else would you want more ?
